A career in travel means working for one of America's top employers today - worldwide career opportunities abound! Some of the many interesting careers available in this $580 billion industry, including working for an airline, cruise line, or for a tour operator, convention organization, hotel or resort. Careers also exist in the areas of car rental companies, rail services, motor coach/bus lines, government tourist boards and, of course, travel agencies. For people with a creative flair, other options include pursuing a career as a travel writer, brochure designer or photographer.

The professors and advisors at College of DuPage go to great lengths to help their students break into the industry and begin a career in travel. In addition to sharing their knowledge and expertise, the program's professors and advisors are involved in numerous organizations and associations outside of the college that offer wonderful networking opportunities for students.
