Program Sequences
Sections:
The SLPA program is designed to be completed in two years. In some circumstances, students may opt, with approval from the program coordinator, to complete the program in three years.
The two-year and three-year SLPA program sequences assume that general education requirements have been completed. Additionally, these sequences do not take into account the potential need for elective credits. Students may apply for and be accepted to the SLPA program prior to completion of general education requirements; in such cases, their course sequences must be adjusted accordingly and the program may require additional time to complete.
Students cannot enroll in Clinical Methods and Documentation (SLPA 2101) and Clinical Practicum (SLPA 2112) until all general education classes have been completed. It is expected that students are prepared for graduation upon completion of all SLPA program courses.
