The U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics projects the employment for paralegals to grow much faster than average for all occupations through the year 2014. Employers are attempting to reduce costs and increase the availability and efficiency of legal services by hiring paralegals to perform tasks formerly performed by lawyers.
