“The cumulative experiences I’ve had within the Horticulture program at COD have laid the foundation for my goal of independent designer. You’re not learning just through textbooks and lectures, but you’re in the field identifying plants and understanding planting combinations or designing landscapes for existing construction. I intend on continuing my education long after graduation, since the Horticulture program at COD is always evolving with the industry.”

COD was the perfect place for me. With the help of my professors, I learned that landscape architecture was the right avenue for me. I received instant gratification because I got to put my skills toward real-world experience. The elements and principles of design that I was taught at College of DuPage through floral classes were instrumental in my successes. From the floral shop to designing to teaching, COD has been my foundation.”
