History
Sections:
History is a study of the past. History should be studied because it can contribute to a better understanding of the world in which we live. It should also be studied for its inherent fascinating quality.
History helps us understand different societies in an ever-changing world. It also helps us understand where our society came from and how it has emerged in time.
Majoring in history not only allows students to explore the past, gaining insights into how societies change over time, but also provides an opportunity to develop vitally important and widely applicable reading, writing, research and interpretive skills.
