When and How Do I Start Technical Preparation?
Grades 9 and 10
Talk to your high school counselors and teachers about other options such as classes
that articulate for college credit to College of DuPage, attending the Technology
Center of DuPage (TCD) or participating in a work-based learning experience for part
of your course work while in high school.
Grades 11 and 12
Take advanced courses in your Technical/Professional area. Refer to the Technical
and Professional Preparation Career Handbook, which your counselor or teacher can
provide to you, or visit the COD home page for more career information.
