Congratulations to all the College of DuPage Photojournalism and Portrait students who participated in the 14th annual Easter Seals Exhibition, “Reaching Beyond!" which opens Monday, October 28th at Easter Seals DuPage and the Fox Valley Region in Villa Park.
More than 20 Easter Seals families collaborated with our students to produce the show. Students in the Photojournalism class produced printed photo essays as well as Sound Slides multimedia stories and videos, which are featured here. The Portrait students made environmental portraits of their subjects on location.
"At Easter Seals DuPage and the Fox Valley Region we focus on what is possible for the children and families that we serve," said Theresa Forthofer, President and CEO. "The talented photographers at College of DuPage capture the spirit of our children in such a beautiful and artistic way. These photographs provide inspiration and joy for all those who enter our building."
The students’ images will be on display at Easter Seal for one year. Besides illustrating how COD students give back to their community, this public service project is a visual acknowledgment of our multi-talented students. The 24 x 36” photographs on display serve a very important purpose for Easter Seals and its families.
