Useful transfer information

The following two links will lead to a great deal of information about transfer of courses from COD to other schools in the state. The first is a COD web site that includes transfer guides for most Illinois schools. The second link is to a site maintained by the State of Illinois concerning transfer of courses among state schools. All courses recommended in the Engineering program are approved by the Illinois Articulation Initiative. Courses in Engineering Technology are not yet included in that effort.

These links provide specific information for COD students intending to transfer to: IIT, NIU, and UIC as well as general education requirements for UIUC.

Most of these web sites will list courses required for engineering majors. They will be in their own numbering system. You can then check the two above sites to determine equivelent COD courses.

Of the Colleges and Universities listed, only BU, NIU and SIUC have engineering technology programs.
