Personal and community health issues and principles are explored in detail.
Topics and issues from PE 250 are included, as well as increased coverage of drugs
and alcohol, reproductive issues, personal safety and family issues. Students are
asked to research and apply health behavior change models.
PE 154 - WOMEN'S HEALTH ISSUES
1 credit hour.
Students will develop an appreciation for the health issues and needs specific
to women. Overall Wellness, Eating Disorders, Weight Mangagement, Breast Cancer,
Cardiovascular Disease, Depression, Reproductive Issues are some of the many
topics students will explore through readings and classroom and lab activities.
