Step 5: Presentation

After you've finished your artist statement, included it in the yourname_266 folder, created the slide show and burned it all to CD - submit the CD to me so I can load it on my machine.

At the end of the second-to-last class or at the beginning of the final class session at the latest, all students need to have their work on my machine. I will load the final projects for each student into Photoshop and project them on the screen.

Each student will have some time to make a presentation about their work, explaining the meaning behind the work, the reasons for choosing the elements used in the pieces, the process of doing the pieces, and any other relevant information. The other students are encouraged to ask questions and offer suggestions. I will also participate with comments as well.

If your work is not quite finished, you can then use the remaining class period after the critique has concluded to finish your work. But remember that on the final day, your work ( even if not quite done ) must be on the CD and ready to display as soon as the class starts.
