    • Work through initial steps of a simple animation

    Covered: Director - keyframes and tweening; Chapter One
    • Director: Keyframes and tweening
    • Art - sources: Chapter One - Expanding your knowledge, visual nutrition / visual detritus

    Goals: After working through today's material, you should now be able to:

    • Feel more comfortable with the Director interface
    • Understand basic principles of keyframes in an animation and how to tween a sprite
    • Develop an understanding of the animation process


    Week 4

    Covered: Director - Markers and scenes - part 1; Bryce 3D; Chapter Two
    • Making markers for scenes in Director
    • Introduction to Bryce 3D rendering
    • Art - influences: Chapter Two: Artistic sources: learning from the masters, Photography as note-taking

    Goals: After working through today's material, you should now be able to:

    • Create separate scenes in Director
    • Develop a simple object in Bryce

    • Construct a repeating film loop in Director

    Goals: After working through today's material, you should now be able to:
    • Modify the shape of an object's path in Director
    • Save your work as a stand-alone projector movie, and save it as a Shockwave movie for the Web
