Vocabulary Assignments

You will complete 10 weekly (almost) vocabulary assignments throughout the quarter.  These assignments must be typed.

For each assignment, you will select five words you are unfamiliar with or unsure of from that week's reading. For each word, you will create a four-part entry.

1. The word.
2. The sentence where it originally appeared in your reading.
3. The definition from your college dictionary that best fits the usage from your reading.
4. A sentence you make up using that word.

You may use words you have not already used from previous weeks' readings, any of the novels, and/or anything you read outside of class, or, as a last resort, e-mail me for a list of words.
