Dr. Mark LundinLanguages: English, French, Dutch Background In addition to acting as instructor in physics (experience including conceptual physics, classical mechanics, quantum mechanics, medical physics) and mathematics, I am a Visiting Associate with the California Institute of Technology based Laser Interferometer Gravitational-wave Observatory (LIGO, www.ligo.org, www.ligo.caltech.edu) Scientific Collaboration. As a graduate student, I was a member of the Compact Muon Solenoid collaboration at the Large Hadron Collider in Geneva, Swizterland. After obtaining my Ph.D. I worked for 15 years in the discipline of econophysics. Though I continue to maintain research interests, my primary focus involves teaching with a specific focus on undergraduate college education. |
