I have a M.S. in Counseling Psychology from Benedictine University from 1994 and have been a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor since 1996. I completed internships in the college setting providing personal and career counseling. I have work experience in an alternative school providing counseling to children and their families, and I am currently part of a private practice in Naperville providing psychotherapy services to children, adolescents and adults.
I have been an adjunct faculty member at the College of DuPage for 11 years and have taught a variety of courses both in the classroom, through the Center for Independent Learning and through Blackboard. I have taught Introduction to Psychology, Child Development, Lifespan Development, and Abnormal Psychology. Currently I am teaching blackboard and CIL sections of Introduction to Psychology and Abnormal Psychology as well as CIL sections of Lifespan Development.
I was selected as one of the “Outstanding Part-time Instructors” in 2007 for the Academic Alternatives division.
