So, you want to become a CPA!
The CPA designation opens doors to diverse careers, providing you the flexibility to do just about anything you want to do in the business world. The following information is provided to help you build for your future as a Certified Public Accountant!
The educational requirements vary depending upon the state in which you plan to apply to sit for the exam. To view the educational requirements for each state, click on the link below and then on the state of your choice.
The College of DuPage offers all the business and accounting courses needed to sit for the exam for a person who meets the other requirements for Illinois.
If you have attended educational institutions outside the United States, you may find the following information helpful.
The Uniform CPA Candidate Bulletin provides all of the basic information about the computerized CPA examination. This document will help candidates understand the examination process: how to take the exam, scheduling and taking the exam sections, and receiving grades.
