Professional Background
My background has been in marketing financial services and managing sales staffs.

Currently I am working as an independent consultant for Blue Cross Blue Shield designing computer based training. My past clients include Abbott Laboratories, Grainger, Sears Roebuck, Hewitt, and the University of Illinois.

Educational Background
I earned an MBA from Loyola University in Chicago while working full time.

I have a Direct Marketing Certificate from DePaul University and an on-line teaching certificate from the Illinois Online Network together with the University of Illinois at Springfield.

Classes Taught
I have taught Introduction to Business, Business Simulation, Entrepreneurship, e-Commerce, and am an adjunct in the e-Commerce Certificate Program.  I have also designed and teach e-Marketing (Marketing 1170) for COD.  Check the COD website for course descriptions.

Teaching Style
Students are expected to read all assignments before coming to class. Class participation counts as a percentage of the final grade. (This includes attendance.)

Projects and Hobbies
As an instructor in the e-Commerce Certificate curriculum, my latest project was designing a Customer Relationship Management Course. This course will be field tested in the Fall of 2007. At that time, there will be a limited enrollment.

When I am not working, my time is spent at as many operas, symphonies, musicals or plays that my budget will allow. I am frequently spotted at the COD Arts Center, usually in the audience, but also on stage as a member of the DuPage Chorale.
