Evaluating your Finished Website
- Will the elements/graphics/gimmicks you used make you successful in reaching your
intended audience?
- Does the language or graphic element convey the correct image you want to portray?
- Is the page easy to navigate or will you or your reader get lost easily? Will it be easy
for first time Users?
- Will the User have to scroll down the page to find the relevant information? If the
homepage is too long, your viewer may lose interest.
- Is the site physically readable? Does the background graphic or color interfere or
overpower the text?
- Do the hyperlinks take you to the correct site?
- Is your site interesting and/or unique? Boring?
- How often will you need to update your website?
- Are you SHOUTING TOO MUCH? Are the graphics "in-your-face" and obnoxious?
- Are the text and graphics consistent on the page? Have you mixed
"ultra-modern" with "baroque" images/text in your interior design?
- Did you check the spealling and grammmmar?
- Did you include Creation and Update information?
- What do you dislike about your website? How would you change it?
