Physics for Engineers and Scientists III
Physics 2115

The goal of this course is for students to further develop have a basic understanding of the physical concepts involved in fluids, heat and thermodynamics, kinetic theory, special relativity, introductory quantum mechanics (including atoms, matter waves, and electrical conduction), nuclear physics, elementary particles, and cosmology. A significant emphasis will be placed on the basic concepts involved. Calculations and calculus will be used as a tool to study and learn these concepts.
