Hike the Canyon: The Grand Canyon Experience

Experience the beauty and grandeur of the Grand Canyon.  Hike the famous South Rim trails lead by experienced guides. Spend the nights at the South Rim lodge or take an overnight hike and camping trip into the inner gorge. Classroom sessions will provide orientation, information on hiking and backpacking techniques, discussion of literary works and films about the Canyon and its impact on visitors throughout the ages.

Class: October 15, October 29, and December 10, 2009 -6-9PM

Field Study: November 4-8, 2009

Fee: $805 (includes air and ground transportation to and from the Grand Canyon, airport shuttles, four nights lodging, park admission fees, and group camping/backpacking equipment)
