Biking: The Elroy Sparta/LaCrosse River Trails
Get your bicycle ready for summer and discover some of the finest bike trails in the midwest. Saturday will take us on the famous three tunnel Elroy Sparta trail - the first rails to trails biking trail in the nation. Bike up to 32-miles on the wide crushed limestone path that passes through some of the most scenic unglaciated areas and friendliest small towns in Wisconsin. On Sunday, we'll pass wooded hillsides and trout streams on the neighboring 21-mile La Crosse River State Trail. Ride and learn basic bike repair and maintenance on this weekend advent rue. Students must provide their own bicycles.
