Appalachian Trail: The White Mountains Hut to HutMore outdoors and less weight on your back! Traverse the famous Appalachian Trail through one of it's most picturesque sections - the White Mountains of New Hampshire. After full days exploring mountain vistas, alpine lakes and waterfalls, retreat to a different trailside backcountry hut each evening for a good meal and bed. Wake to a great breakfast the next morning, and begin another day on the trail. Learn the basics of low-impact hiking and wilderness navigation. Participants must be comfortable hiking up to 8 miles a day with a 20-pound backpack over potentially rough, steep terrain. Finish the experience with a hike along the historic "Freedom Trail" in Boston, MA.
