Alaska: Traversing the Winter Wonders

Many say you haven't truly experienced Alaska until you've been there during the winter. Now is your chance to witness many of the things that make Alaska famous that you can't do during the summer months.  Watch the start of the Iditarod Sled Dog Race in Anchorage, view the spectacular Aurora Borealis or northern lights in Fairbanks, soak in the pools at Chena Hot Springs, mush your own sled dog team, and ski and snowshoe in deep powder snow while staying overnight in some of the best Alaskan lodges.

Class: February 17, 2010 - 6-8PM

Field Study: March 4-12, 2010

Fee:  $1,870 (includes air/ground transportation, all entry fees, lodging, skiing, dogsledding and snowshoeing fees, and some meals).
