Turbellaria (Flatworms or Planarians)
- Soft-bodied, flat and nonsegmented worms.
- Gray, brown, or black, often mottled, striped, or spotted. Ventral sides gary.
May have two dark eyespots on the dorsal side of the head.
- Body markings gray and the eyespots white in preserved specimens.
- Body usually curls into a "C" shape.
- Specimens are fragile and often destroyed during handling.
