My Ph.D. is from the Department
of Anthropology at UCSD, granted in 1994. At UCSD, I was most
influenced by Roy D'Andrade, Marc Swartz,
Mel
Spiro, and Don Tuzin.
In my time at UCSD, I became a Social Anthropologist with an abiding
interest in Psychological Anthropology.
