Reading Academic Articles with Purpose, Care, and Confidence

This assignment is so important I am giving it a value of 15 points, which is the equivalent of one and a half grades up (or down) on an individual paper. The first part (A.) calls for fastwriting, and the second part asks you to refer to particular aspects of the reading, so you may and should quote from it if you need to.
