Hello!
Allow me to introduce myself. My name is Dr. Rita Bobrowski. Presently
I am the Coordinator of Human Services at College of DuPage, in Glen Ellyn,
Illinois. This Fall I will begin my 20th year of teaching and
loving it still! I began my professional career as a Registered Nurse.
In fact, I graduated from the College of DuPage’s Nursing Program in 1978.
I went on to accomplish a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing, a Master’s Degree
in Psychiatric Nursing, a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology and finally
postdoctoral studies in Neuropsychology. I have practiced as a Registered
Nurse, in fact I taught nursing for sixteen years. I also have a small
private practice as a Licensed Clinical Psychologist. Now as Coordinator
of Human Services I am able to integrate my medical background, education
and psychiatric experience into all the Certificate and Degree options
that we have. Personally, I have been married for over 36 years to a very
sweet man, have three wonderful children, and four adorable grandchildren.
We have a very old Maltese "puppy" and a new kitten. My passion is art.
I love learning about the subject, love to draw and paint and have actually
been in some "shows". Art has helped me "see" my patients better. I sincerely
hope you will enjoy this course. Please feel free to contact me if you
have any questions. |
