GENERAL INORGANIC CHEMISTRY ASSESSMENT

The American Chemical Society Chem Ed Exams were administered to 323 College of DuPage over a period of three years. These students had completed a full year of inorganic chemistry (151,152 and 153), which is equivalent to two semesters at the University level. A summary of results and standards are presented in the following table.

Based on these data we conclude that College of DuPage students are perform at levels similar to those presented in the composite norms for general chemistry form 1997.
