Academic Assistance and Peer Tutoring

Local C.O.D. online students are encouraged to take advantage of the Academic Support Center. Assistance in Reading, Math, Writing and Speech are available as well as the peer-tutoring services.

For non-local online students, online tutoring is available for four credit online classes: Accounting 1140, Psychology 1100, Spanish 1101 and Spanish 1102. If you need help these courses, visit C.O.D. peer tutors online once you login to your Blackboard account. Look for the "Ask a peer tutor" link. This is basically e-mail-based assistance.

As online students, you are strongly encouraged to contact your instructors whenever you need academic assistance and guidance regarding your online course. Actively interacting with your instructor is critical to your success in the course.
