Request a Speaker

If you are searching for a speaker for an upcoming program or event, please fill out our online Speakers Bureau Form to request this complementary service. Sessions can be interactive or presented as a lecture and possibly scheduled with as little as one week of notice based on the requested speaker’s schedule. It is not necessary to have audio/visual equipment as our speakers can bring their own.

Consider forming a series of weekly or monthly speaking engagements! You will find more than 270 names in our Experts Guide, but feel free to get creative when thinking of topics for presentations. With more than 1,600 faculty members to choose from, your needs can most certainly be met. Sessions can be entirely customized as there is no set format.

Our speakers have been invited to present at various types of locations, such as:

Assisted living facilities

Community-based non-profit groups

High school classrooms

Local companies’ staff development trainings

Public libraries

Examples of recent speaking engagements that have been coordinated through the College of DuPage Speakers Bureau include:

An interactive session at an assisted living facility with Amelia Barrett, associate professor of theater arts, titled “Use Improvisational Exercises to Get People in a Playful Mood, Promote Spontaneity, Trust, and Foster Both Physical and Mental Activity”

A lecture at a local investment firm with Dr. Kenneth Gray, professor of psychology, titled “Behavioral Finance: How Married Couples Choose Their Investments”
