College of DuPage to Host Inaugural Maker Market April 11
By Mike McKissack
The E2 Emerging Entrepreneurs program at College of DuPage will host a free Maker Market event from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Wednesday, April 11, in the Student Services Center Atrium on the Glen Ellyn campus, 425 Fawell Blvd.
This event is free and open to the public.
“We are thrilled to be launching our first Maker Market at College of DuPage,” said E2 Emerging Entrepreneurs program support specialist Bev Carlson. “This is a wonderful opportunity to help student makers and entrepreneurs within the College and schools in the community with sound guidance and the opportunity to sell their wares and services."
During this event, students from COD and the greater community will show, tell and sell their products, services and ideas with other entrepreneurs, students, staff and the community. Products include jewelry, hair and skin care products, cleaning services, software and web design, as well as a range of clothing products including custom graphic tees, dress designs and women’s sportswear.
