“Images,” College of DuPage’s monthly one-half hour television show, features in its June and July edition segments on the College’s 51st Annual Commencement Ceremony, 2018 Outstanding Graduates Anna Gorman and Molly Langlotz, Overall Outstanding Faculty Member Tom Carter and Culinary Arts student Evelyn Kourliourus.

Each month, “Images” highlights the personalities, news and curriculum of a vibrant College of DuPage campus. The show airs on 13 area cable television stations.

June and July “Images” recaps COD’s 51st Annual Commencement Ceremony. A celebration of the achievements of the 2018 graduating class, the ceremony included comments from College President Dr. Ann E. Rondeau, Board Chairman Deanne Mazzochi, this year’s Outstanding Graduates Anna Gorman and Molly Langlotz, and COD Foundation Board Member and keynote speaker Dr. Christopher Bourke.

The show also highlights Gorman and Langlotz, two graduates whose achievements demonstrate determination and success. Langlotz discussed her journey from an unstable childhood to earning her Associate in Arts degree, while Gorman reflects on the value of becoming involved in campus activities and organizations.

COD’s 2018 Overall Outstanding Faculty Member is also featured in June and July “Images.” Carter, a professor of Physics, expressed pride in teaching at a community college because it allows him to have a positive effect on a large number of people.

This edition also includes a segment on Culinary Arts student Evelyn Kourliourus, who said that the Culinary program at COD is helping her follow a passion for baking.

Images airs at various times on cable television stations in Downers Grove, Wheaton, Addison, Elmhurst, Glen Ellyn, Naperville, Glendale Heights, Bartlett, Lemont, Elk Grove, Darien, Aurora and West Chicago. Check local cable listings for times and channels.
