COD February ‘Images’ Highlights Distinguished Alumnus Patrick C. Cullinan, Culinary Program

“Images,” College of DuPage’s monthly one-half hour television show, features in its February edition segments on the College’s Culinary and Dental Hygiene programs.

Each month, “Images” highlights the personalities, news and curriculum of a vibrant College of DuPage campus. The show airs on 13 area cable television stations.

The February “Images” highlights Culinary Arts student Evelyn Kourliouros. After obtaining her four-year degree, Kouliouros switched gears, deciding to put her love of baking to work. Now enrolled COD’s Culinary Arts program, she details her decision to enroll and the support she’s receiving from program faculty.

This month’s show also includes a segment on the College’s Dental Hygiene program, which prepares its graduates to provide comprehensive oral health care services in a variety of settings. Students successfully completing the program and passing of the National Dental Hygiene Examination and Regional Board Examination are eligible to apply for mandatory state licensure.

The February show also includes a segment on 2017 COD Distinguished Alumnus Patrick C. Cullinan. The former Marine took two years’ worth of courses in one year at COD and went on to finish two bachelor’s degrees with cum laude honors at the University of Illinois and a doctorate of osteopathy at Midwestern University, graduating fourth in his class. He specialized in not one but three medical areas and was inducted as a Fellow of the Society of Critical Care Medicine, the American College of Osteopathic Emergency Medicine and the American College of Internists. Cullinan serves as medical director for Centene, a Fortune 500 company.

Images airs at various times on cable television stations in Downers Grove, Wheaton, Addison, Elmhurst, Glen Ellyn, Naperville, Glendale Heights, Bartlett, Lemont, Elk Grove, Darien, Aurora and West Chicago. Check local cable listings for times and channels.
