The COD Cares Denim Day team raised $2,754 to support the fight against breast cancer from a record number of 112 participants.

“Everyone knows a person who has been affected by cancer, and it’s wonderful that so many people from the College of DuPage community came together to support the battle against it,” said COD Community Relations Coordinator Ami Chambers. “We’ve surpassed our goal for this year and raised more donations from more participants than ever before.”

The American Cancer Society Denim Day is designed to bring together individuals to help save more lives from breast cancer. Since the event’s beginning in 1996, participants have raised more than $96 million.
