Applications Now Accepted for Fall 2017 Foundation Scholarships
By Brian Kleemann
Students can now apply for the fall 2017 College of DuPage Foundation Scholarships.
More than 130 scholarships are available, representing 350 awards totaling more than $460,000. Scholarships are offered based on academic achievement, financial need, field of study and population. This year’s deadline is Thursday, March 23.
“Because of dwindling state funding, including the uncertainty regarding MAP grants, it’s important that funds are available for students who want to pursue or continue their higher education,” said Karen Kuhn, Director of the COD Foundation and Assistant Vice President for Development. “The generosity of our donors during the past year has resulted in the Foundation offering more scholarships than ever before. This allows us to make an impact on an even greater number of students.”
