COD Hosts Interior Design Open House July 30

College of DuPage will celebrate the work of Interior Design students and provide information about educational opportunities at the Interior Design Open House on Wednesday, July 30, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m., in the Technical Education Center, Room 3019, at the College’s main campus, 425 Fawell Blvd., in Glen Ellyn.

This event is free and open to the public.

“The interior design industry has rebounded in a big way and there are great opportunities for talented graduates,” said Interior Design Program Coordinator Jane Kielb. “We want to reach out to prospective students and the community to let them know about the educational and employment opportunities we offer.”

During this event, attendees will learn about educational opportunities offered by College of DuPage as well as the timeframe and the cost of completing a program of study. In addition, information will be provided about professional opportunities in interior design and transfer and financial aid options available at the College. There will be a short program at 7:30 p.m., allowing time before and after to see examples of student work. In addition, representatives from the Interior Design program will be on hand to provide information and answer questions and attendees can tour the program’s new facilities.

The Interior Design program at College of DuPage offers an A.A.S. degree in Interior Design as well as certificates in Kitchen and Bath Design, Interior Design Computer Applications and Lighting Design.
