Explore Buddhist-Hindu Traditions with COD

The College of DuPage Field and Experiential Learning program is offering “India: Exploring Buddhist-Hindu Traditions” this fall.

Participants will learn about India’s fascinating cultural heritage, which includes hundreds of languages, ethnic groupings and cultural expressions. Students will explore Indian history and its Buddhist-Hindu traditions in Old and New Delhi, Jaipur, Fatehpur, Agra, Varanasi, Nalanda, Rajagriha and Bodgaya, including the antiquity and modernity of each location.

Students are required to attend class from 7 to 9:50 p.m. Wednesdays, Dec. 10 and 17 and Jan. 14, and will travel to India Dec. 27 to Jan. 8. The fee for the course is $3,499, which includes air and land transportation, hotels, entrance fees and some meals. Tuition is extra.
