Compared to other immigrant groups, Asian and Pacific immigrants feel that they receive very little attention and have little influence on public policy. These immigrants, at least one-quarter of the nation’s foreign-born population, include those from East Asia, South Asia, Southeast Asia, and the Pacific region.
