This course will enhance the advising skills of faculty, staff and administrators to assist students in their area of interest. In this class we will discuss the philosophy of advising/student development theory, COD’s Comprehensive Advising Model, degree requirements, materials available for use while advising, the IAI, conversion advising, on-line advising, placement testing, and resources available through the library.
