Internships

We want you to learn with us.  Help yourself while helping COD.

College of DuPage’s Multimedia Services department offers several opportunities for students to learn and grow in a professional environment equipped with state-of-the-art technologies and tools.  Each semester four internship experiences are available to students with a strong background and interest in media production. The internships are a ideal for students to gain valuable experience for entry into a career in media production in one of the nation’s busiest markets.

The nature of media, video and television production requires that applicants be self-motivated, comfortable working in a fast-paced environment under strict deadlines and capable of working on multiple assignments simultaneously.  The internships allow a student to experience many facets of production and post-production while working on content for the web, podcasting, live studio television production, field video and audio production, video and audio editing and CD and DVD duplication.

As a vital member of a collaborative production team there will be a natural blending of responsibilities.  However, the internships are divided into four main areas of concentration to help develop a student’s interests while assisting work flow in the Multimedia Services department.
