The Washington, D.C., Martin Luther King Jr. National Memorial
Not far from the site of the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., landmark speech “I Have a Dream” is the location of a new monument being built as a tribute to this great American.
The Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., National Memorial Foundation has raised an estimated $38.5 million out of the $100 million needed to begin construction of the memorial.
This Washington D.C. memorial has been selected to honor the essence of Dr. King’s passion for freedom, opportunity and justice for all Americans.
