Reference Services
- Reference Consultation
A librarian is always on duty at the Reference Center to assist
in the identification, location, and use of Library materials.
Assistance is also provided in the use of audiovisual equipment
in the Library. Librarians will be glad to discuss individual
reference or research problems and to suggest appropriate resources.
- Reference by E-mail
Registered College of DuPage Library card-holders who have
e-mail accounts may use the service Ask
a Librarian to ask research questions from the reference
staff.
- Reference by Phone
Telephone questions are limited to inquiries about
Library holdings or brief information that is readily found
in standard reference sources. You can reach the Reference Desk by calling (630) 942-3364.
- Interlibrary Loan
Interlibrary
loan requests may be made in person at the Reference Center
desk or online.
This service is available to College of DuPage students, faculty,
staff, and community members. A valid College of DuPage library
card is needed. Book requests take approximately two weeks
for delivery. Article requests take approximately one week.
