Book Drop Locations

Book drops are convenient locations where you can return Library materials without having to come to the Library. All Library materials—except reserve items—may be returned to any indoor book drop. Reserves must be returned directly to the Library. In addition, non-book items (tapes, DVDs, CDs, etc.) may not be placed in the outdoor book drop.

SRC Building

Outdoor Book Drop (Map)

Outside of the north entrance on the drive

Emptied twice a day on days the Library is open

Second Floor (Map)

Outside of the Library entrance
Two drops are immediately inside the Library entrance
Two drops are halfway along the hallway that connects the Library and the IC building

Emptied throughout the day on days the Library is open

First Floor (Map)

Two drops are located on the first floor just inside the south doors near the cafeteria entrance

Emptied twice a day on days the Library is open

Arts Center

Second floor near AC 250 (Map)

Emptied daily (Monday - Friday) and materials are returned to the Library by approximately 4 p.m.

M Building

Southeast corner near the vending machine room (Map)

Emptied daily (Monday - Friday) and materials are returned to the Library by approximately 4 p.m.

Regional Centers

Addison Center (Map)
Bloomingdale Center for Independent Learning (Map)
Naperville Center (Map)
Westmont Center (Map)

Books are picked up daily (Monday - Friday) from each Regional Center and are returned to the Library by approximately 4 p.m.

From Regional Centers, allow for one day for books to be returned before due date.
