C.O.D. Transfer Guides and Transfer TipsThese guides are constantly updated by Bob Regner, Coordinator of College Articulation, and give excellent transfer information and details of C.O.D.'s articulation agreements with 50 colleges and universities. Illinois Articulation InitiativeBe familiar with the Transfer H.I.N.T.S. page and use this source as a starting point. It is important to remember that not every college and university in Illinois participates in IAI, so be sure to check the list of participating institutions before assuming that the entire General Education Core Curriculum (GECC) will transfer. Also note the Transfer Planning Worksheet under the GECC guide. |

Profiles of American CollegesAvailable in the College and Career Information Center - Call number: L 901 .P72 annual This reference includes information about transfer requirements for most schools. This includes whether SAT or ACT scores are required, minimum GPA, letters of recommendations/essays needed, and, how many credits must be taken at the transfer college. Another useful figure is how many transfer students enrolled in a recent year. This figure, when compared to the total undergraduate enrollment, gives a good idea of how selective the college is in accepting transfer students. |
