Library Cards
|
- All C.O.D. students can get a free Library card and it only takes a minute to get a card.
- See the Library Cards page for more details.
- Cards can be used to check out books, software, general collection videos, and rental videos. Your Library card also allows you to access article databases from home.

C.O.D. Library Web Site
Locating Information
C.O.D. Library Catalog
|
- Use the C.O.D. Library Catalog to find books, videos, software, magazines, and journals in the C.O.D. Library
- Use the search tab on the Library homepage, or from anywhere in the Library site, click on "Library Catalog" link.
- Using the catalog, you can search for books about your topic in a variety
of ways including by title, author, subject, or keyword.

Article Databases

- Using these databases, you can find articlesand multimedia from scholarly journals, magazines, newspapers, and other scholary sources.
- Use the databases search tab on the Library homepage, or from anywhere in the Library site, click on the "Databases" link.
- Choose the subject you are researching to get a list of recommended databases

Web Search Tools
|
- From anywhere in the Library site, click on the "Web Sites" link.
- On these pages you'll find a variety of general and specialized web search tools including multimedia and image search engines, blog search engines and directories.
As well as search engines, try using the Wikipedia-- an online encyclopedia where content is created by users.

Research & Class Guides
|
- From anywhere in the Library Web site, click on the "Research" link.
- Click on your subject to learn search strategies for finding books,
articles, and Web sites about your topic.
