The Library has four different types of collections of books and videos. You can check out books and videos from the general collection, get videos from the circulation desk to view in the Library, use materials from the reference collection to look up quick, factual information and access electronic books on your computer from home. Below are the tools you can use to locate these materials.

Books and Videos:

Link to the Library Catalog

Use the library catalog to search for materials in the Library. The catalog can be searched by subject, keyword, title and author.

Searching tips:
Search the catalog by subject first. You can try such subjects as "Process Control" "Industrial Electronics" or "Automation."

If you would like find electronic books in this topic area, do a keyword search in the Library catalog for "ebooks" and browse the titles, or use Knovel Interactive Library! This excellent collection is available on this page: Elemec Databases.

Doing a keyword search can help you find the correct subject heading. Do a keyword search and select a book or video that is in the area that you are interested in. Clicking on an appropriate subject heading at the bottom of the record will take you to similar items.
