The
Philanthropy Center: A Partnership
The Philanthropy Center is a partnership between the Donors
Forum of Chicago and College of DuPage to meet the information
needs of nonprofit organizations located in the western suburbs
of Chicago. Philanthropic and fund-raising groups may conveniently
access research materials and attend workshops at the College
of DuPage Library.
Funding to support this partnership has been provided with
a grant from the Community
Memorial Foundation and a contribution from the West
Suburban Philanthropic Network. Resources and workshops
at College of DuPage do not, however, replace the specialized
resources and wide array of training provided by the Donors
Forum at its Chicago location.
The Philanthropy Center: Resources and Services
The Philanthropy Center provides the following resources and
services for nonprofit organizations located in the western
suburbs of Chicago:
-
Books, magazines and databases to support research on philanthropic
and fundraising topics.
- Professionally
trained staff to assist with the use of these resources.
- Workshops
and seminars on topics such as proposal writing, outcome
evaluation, securing support from individuals and capital
campaigns.
- Regularly
scheduled free orientations to the resources of the Philanthropy
Center.
