The
Staff Technology Award is based on a process improvement that utilizes
technology and saves the college time and/or money. This could include
using technology for any daily activity, learning improvement, or manual
process that will streamline or reduce time and/or cost to the college.
The award will be $300 for each application based on the value to the
college.
Proposal and Evaluation
Procedures
- Any full-time
or part-time staff member(s) may submit a Staff Technology Award Proposal
Form.
- All proposals
must be submitted via the WEB. This will automatically send the submission
to Information Technology for review. If you have any questions please
contact Joe Miragliotta, Manager Planning and Emerging Technology, Information
Technology.
- IT will review
each proposal within two weeks of submission and provide comments to
ITAC for their proposal evaluation.
- ITAC meets
once a month during the academic year and will evaluate technology proposals
at the Oct, Feb, and May meetings.
- Proposal approvals
or rejections will be completed by ITAC. Decisions will be based upon
the potential savings to the college.
- The chair of
ITAC will officially notify the staff member(s) of the outcome of the
proposal.
- Information
Technology will post award winners on the IT website and submit information
to the Greensheet.
