Donates computers from federal agencies to schools
and educational nonprofits. A number of transportation systems and movers

This international foundation funded by corporate
sponsors and individuals serves as a clearinghouse for parents and educators.
During “Computer Learning Month” each October, the foundation awards
prizes for innovative technology projects. Over $120,000 in technology
products are also awarded to the winners of the Technology Planning
Sweepstakes to schools which prepare or update their technology plans.
Additional awards are given to students in the “Our Town” initiative,
for the best designs of a community Web site.

and telecommunications infrastructure. Volunteers assist school districts

teachers in the use of technology.
