Microsoft Campus Agreement

College of DuPage and Microsoft have entered into an agreement that provides for the use of specifically licensed Microsoft products on home computers. The following questions and answers will provide you with the information necessary for purchasing Microsoft software for home use.
How do I qualify for this agreement between Microsoft and College of DuPage?
 
  • You must be an active employee of the college. This includes full- and part-time faculty, full- and part-time classified staff or all administrators. This does not include student employees or temporary staff.

  • You must use this software for college-related activities.

  • You must own or lease the computer on which the software is to be installed.

  • You are eligible to obtain one copy only of each of the specified software applications.

  • The software can be installed on one computer only. This can be a desktop computer or a laptop computer. Installations on multiple computers is not permitted under this agreement.
How can I get Microsoft software for home use?
 

The College of DuPage has partnered with ScholarBuys to offer our Faculty and Staff Faculty/Staff great pricing on Microsoft Products through the Microsoft Work at Home (WAH) program. You can get your WAH product via secure Electronic Software Delivery (ESD), which provides access to software much faster and at significantly lower costs. The products listed below are all only $9.95 for the electronic download version:

  • Office Mac 2008 **ESD not available yet for Office Mac, a DVD will be shipped to you**

  • Visio Pro 2010
  • Windows 7 Pro Upgrade
  • Windows 7 Ultimate Upgrade

Can I continue to use these applications if I am no longer an active employee of the college?
 
  • Under the terms of the agreement, only active employees are eligible to take advantage of this agreement between Microsoft and College of DuPage.

  • Upon termination from the college, you are no longer covered by the agreement and must remove the applications from your home computer. Failure to do so, puts you in violation of the agreement.

  • You will be responsible for any losses, financial or otherwise, incurred by the College of DuPage as a result of your use of these applications.
