1) Turn
the MAIN power on the projector. The main power is on the rear of the
projector. The power indicator lights red and the projector enters the
stand by mode.
2) Make sure
the cable marked VGA is plugged in to the input of the projector.
Plug the other end of the VGA cable in to the laptop computer monitor
jack.(Use MAC cable if using MAC)
3) Press the
power button on the side of the projector
(NOTE -If the power
is turned on immediately after it is turned off, it may take a short while
before the lamp turns on. During this period the LAMP REPLACEMENT indicator
flashes.)
4) Turn on
the laptop computer.
5) If the computer
image is not displayed on the projector check the following
- Press the input
select button on the side of the projector. It should say RGB
if it does not press the input select button again until it says RGB.
- If the words under
the RGB say “NO SIGNAL” then the laptop output is not
enabled. On the laptop press the FN key and the F3 key. This toggles
the output from the laptop to the projector. (NOTE – not all laptops
use the F3 key some use F7, look at the top of the keys and select the
one labeled LCD)
- If the words under
the RGB say “NON REG” then the resolution on the laptop
is set to high. Use the control panel monitor settings in WINDOWS to
change it to 800 X 600 or lower with a refresh rate of 75khz or lower.
